JOYN is an app that collects users’ membership and customer clubs in one place digitally.

As a product designer in a small team with an established product, a lot of focus was laid on making sure to develop functionality that was desired by users while working with the team to ideate upcoming strategies and campaigns to grow the user base further.

Everything in one place.

The mission was to make everyday life a little easier for our users, and JOYN did that by offering hassle-free wallet organisation.

To keep up to that promise, we made sure to user test often. We incorporated recruitment within the app to find real users and supplemented that with quantitative feedback along the way.

While implementing some features, others were on the sketching board. Although membership organising was a key feature, we developed that by agile development into an app that let users manage messages, see an overview of sale offers, and manage their receipts, among other features.

We used OKRs (Objectives and key results) to clearly define our vision, strategies and to track our results.

Brand profile and visual design was important factors in achieving our expression. We made sure the design language was both inviting and true to our biggest vision: to radiate simplicity.

We ran multiple marketing campaigns to expand our user and partner base. This included work spanning from poster designs, to our own annual Advent Calendar inside the app during December.
